This 7-day immersive journey through Socotra Island unveils a surreal landscape of alien-like flora, crystal-clear beaches, and dramatic mountain terrain. From swimming in natural infinity pools at Homhil, snorkeling in the Dihamri coral reserve, to discovering ancient caves and cruising along the pristine shores of Qalansiyah, every day promises a unique adventure.
Your base will be Hadiboo, the island’s capital, offering access to both the eastern mountains and western beaches. This tour is designed for nature lovers, photographers, and explorers seeking a raw, untouched experience far from the crowds.
Upon arrival at Socotra Airport, you’ll be met by our team and we’ll head out to the Ayhaft Protected Area, a lush valley filled with diverse flora and birdlife, then you will be transferred to your hotel in Hadiboo for check in and lunch. Soon after, From there, continue to Delisha Beach to swim and relax on golden sands before returning to Hadiboo for overnight.
Departure from Hadiboo at 08:00 am to Dixam Plateau, stopping to admire the iconic dragon blood trees and take photos of this otherworldly landscape. Continue to Fermahen, the island’s largest dragon blood forest with nearly two million trees. Our journey ends at Wadi De’erhur, where natural freshwater pools invite you to swim and refresh. Return to Hadiboo for overnight.
Heading south to Nujed. Along the way we’ll stop at Defsha Mountain, Amak Beach, and the dramatic Degub Cave. Later, wander across the vast sand dunes of Hayf and Zahek, where the desert meets the ocean. Overnight in Hadiboo.
After breakfast, we visit Qarya Lagoon, the island’s largest, which sometimes attracts flamingos. From there, we drive to the Homhil Protected Area a land of frankincense visits Frankincense Forest – the ancient forest of Arabic gum. At the Homhil viewpoint, take in sweeping views of the eastern coast.
We continue to Wadi Areher, where fresh water flows from caves directly into the sea — a rare chance to bathe in freshwater right beside the waves. Return to Hadiboo for overnight.
Today is for adventurers! We hike for about 2 hours uphill to reach Hoq Cave and about 1 hour inside The Cave of Hug, one of Socotra’s most fascinating natural wonders. Inside, marvel at its ancient stalactites and mystical atmosphere. After hiking down, we’ll return via Dihamri marine protected area for a relaxed swim before heading back to Hadiboo. Overnight at hotel.
Morning departure to Qalansiyah, the island’s second-largest town, and onwards to Detwah Lagoon, a protected paradise known for its crystal waters. In the afternoon, we take a boat trip to Shu’ab Bay, gliding past mangroves and spotting marine life. Enjoy snorkeling in pristine waters, then return to Detwah for a stunning sunset before driving back to Hadiboo for overnight
Morning transfer to Socotra Airport for your flight home. End of services.

Do I need a visa to visit Yemen?
We recommend packing lightweight, breathable clothing, sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen, and a hat. If you’re visiting Socotra, don’t forget swimwear for the beaches and a camera to capture the unique landscapes.

USD in cash is the most widely accepted. It's also worth noting that Yemen is a cash-based society, and it's always adviced to have some cash on hand. There are no ATMs and credit cards are not accepted in most of the country.

Yemen hotels are mainly based on location, security, and staff. Hotels standards in Yemen will not match Western standards regarding price-quality ratio, etc.
Modest clothing is recommended. Women are not required to wear an abaya but should dress conservatively.
