This 4-day immersive tour is a perfect introduction to the natural wonders of Socotra Island, often called the “Galápagos of the Indian Ocean.” From lush canyons and rare trees to crystal-clear beaches and protected marine areas, the journey offers a balanced mix of adventure and relaxation.
Start with a visit to the green oasis of Ayhaft Canyon and the serene beauty of Delisha Beach, then dive deeper into the island’s soul with excursions to the Homhil plateau’s natural pools, Qarya Lagoon’s bird habitats, and Areher’s iconic dunes. Snorkeling at Dihamri Reserve and a visit to Qalansiyah Bay, one of Socotra’s most scenic beaches, round out your adventure.
Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, eco-traveler, or photographer, this short but rich tour delivers an unforgettable glimpse into one of the planet’s most unique ecosystems.
Upon arrival at Socotra Airport, you’ll be met by our team and we’ll head out to the Ayhaft Protected Area, a lush valley filled with diverse flora and birdlife, then you will be transferred to your hotel in Hadiboo for check in and lunch. Soon after, From there, continue to Delisha Beach to swim and relax on golden sands before returning to Hadiboo for overnight.
After breakfast, we visit Qarya Lagoon, the island’s largest, which sometimes attracts flamingos. From there, we drive to the Homhil Protected Area a land of frankincense visits Frankincense Forest – the ancient forest of Arabic gum. At the Homhil viewpoint, take in sweeping views of the eastern coast.
We continue to Wadi Areher, where fresh water flows from caves directly into the sea — a rare chance to bathe in freshwater right beside the waves. Return to Hadiboo for overnight.
Morning departure to Qalansiyah, the island’s second-largest town, and onwards to Detwah Lagoon, a protected paradise known for its crystal waters. In the afternoon, we take a boat trip to Shu’ab Bay, gliding past mangroves and spotting marine life. Enjoy snorkeling in pristine waters, then return to Detwah for a stunning sunset before driving back to Hadiboo for overnight.
Morning transfer to Socotra Airport for your flight home. End of services.
